Holly McCabe Lockhart

Attorney Holly McCabe Lockhart received her Juris Doctor from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law and is licensed to practice in both Ohio and Kentucky. Having received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Toledo, Holly worked as a paralegal for nearly 10 years before attending law school. During law school, Holly served as a Chase Ambassador and was selected as the recipient of the distinguished Salmon P. Chase Advocacy Award. As a law student, Holly worked as a legal fellow and clinical student at the Children's Law Center in Covington, Kentucky where she obtained her limited license to act as a guardian ad litem in child custody and juvenile delinquency matters.
After law school, Holly worked as an associate attorney in a small private law firm in Northern Kentucky. Holly's experience also includes working with the Kentucky Innocence Project, the Hamilton County Public Defender's Office, and the Ohio Justice and Policy Center. Additionally, Holly interned for the Honorable Judge Robert P. Ruehlman of the Hamilton County Common Pleas Court.
As a paralegal, Holly worked on cases of criminal defense, family law cases, social security, probate, and estate planning. Holly also worked at the Common Pleas Courthouse of Montgomery County, Ohio as a case manager handling both criminal and civil case dockets.
Currently, Holly serves as a Guardian ad Litem and appointed counsel for parents/custodians in Dependency, Neglect and Abuse Court in the Family Court of Boone County, Kentucky. Holly also serves on a panel representing minor children facing delinquency charges in juvenile court in Hamilton County, Ohio. Her passion is family law and juvenile defense.

Additionally, Holly focuses her private practice on family law, including but not limited to, divorce, dissolution, and custody matters.

Together, Holly and her husband have 5 children, and stay rather busy with their crew.
